Caney Fork River Valley Grille
Caney Fork River Valley Grille takes its name from the famous Caney Fork river. The river's crystal clear waters and beautiful river valleys are teaming with wildlife and winds its way through middle Tennessee just east of Nashville, eventually finding its way to every one of the southern states down stream.
In addition to being home to some of the best trout fishing in the South, these beautiful waters are also well-known for their world-class canoeing, kayaking, camping, and other outdoor activities. Just as the river flows, we, too, have plans to open new locations across the south, bringing our unique and memorable restaurants to your part of the world.
The very first Caney Fork River Valley Grille is located just outside of the front gates of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and has garnered much acclaim as one of Nashville's best casual dining experiences, featuring authentic Southern and Camp-style Cuisine - with a heaping helping of authentic southern charm and live music seven nights a week!
Dining within the confines of our one-of-a-kind concept is akin to a genuine riverside campfire experience, with all of the flavors and all of the feel of the Great Outdoors served up to you on a plate of southern hospitality and "kick back" relaxation.
We offer an opportunity for you to be as tame as you like with our fresh cut steaks, chicken, pork, and ribs - or we allow you to indulge in our famous hand-padded burgers or fresh seafood selections.
But, perhaps you're feeling a little 'wild' and adventurous and would like to try our perfectly prepared wild-game daily options of elk, buffalo, venison or wild boar?
Not only is our food adventurous in spirit, but so is our ambience! We scoured the south locating interesting artifacts to represent a genuine "outdoorsy feel" and we, ourselves, have personally hunted and fished for decades all across this great land to build a world-class collection of trophy game animals covering literally dozens of species.
We encourage our guests to enjoy the unique surroundings we have to offer, such as our 3,100 gallon stocked pond and waterfall - home of more than a dozen huge catfish, including our two most recognizable mascots affectionately referred to as "Bubba" and "Snowball" - "Bubba" is certainly "the man" of the pond, and "Snowball" is a rare albino catfish. They will enjoy your company so much that they will allow you to feed them and pet them!
You will also see our beautifully restored 1939 Dodge truck cab, dozens of vintage lures, and hundreds of outdoor photographs and primitive antiques. Oh, and did we mention we have a couple of bears "hangin' around", just for sport, as well?!
To top off your true Camp-Style Cuisine and Southern dining experience, we offer the opportunity for you to cook up your very own Table-Top S'mores! – you get to roast the marshmallows exactly how you like them, place them between two fresh graham crackers with a slice of heavenly chocolate and enjoy the mouth-watering combination! If that doesn't take you back to when you were a kid on the family trip to the great outdoors - I don't know what does.
Caney Fork River Valley Grille is such a fun place to visit - you'll never want the adventure to end!
